These contracts all sound like corrupt boondoggles. What are the best ways to expose and shame the contractors and make them face consequences for not only profiting corruptly, but doing so by feeding off the manufactured misery of innocent, vulnerable people?

do you think the government buys those 10 detention centers from geo and corecivic? mostly in blue states cities and or strategically located. I guess less the states/cities can do to interfere with ice once federally owned

Couple questions: By spending are you focusing on obligations, outlays, or both? And do you think there’s a need to look at USCIS too? Or any other federal agencies that may be receiving increased funding for immigration enforcement?

Good questions! We are focusing on obligations, as those give us a better picture of current/future priorities.

Yes - there's definitely a need to look at USCIS too. We've been tracking all DHS spending, and future monthly reports will likely cover more than just CBP and ICE.
