I enjoyed learning about Salt Box during your first conversation with Adam, it was brilliant. And to learn in this second conversation the successes you have had, just PHENOMENALLY brilliant 🙏🙏

Well written, and with so many details I didn't know or vaguely remembered.

Thank you.

No one can do it all, but if we bring just one brick to this monument to human decency, we are making progress. Our Constitution is well worth defending, with a letter here, a march there, phone calls etc.

It may seem small, but in the aggregate, it is huge...

Thanks Adam. Talk about waste, fraud and abuse! Thanks for keeping us informed. I certainly did not vote for the purchase of warehouses to house people!

🚨🚨❗❗ IT LOOKS LIKE THEY MAY BE FASTRACKING DEPORTATION OF KIDS & EXPANDING DETENTION IN TX- "federal contractors in Texas advertised hundreds of shelter jobs. Lawyers and advocates say that indicates that they may soon expect to receive children from elsewhere in the country as so few are currently allowed to cross the border."

I'm so grateful to you and to everyone who does his or her part to protect our democracy. Our constitution needs our support in every way we can.

Thank you so much for your reporting and investigations-I believe you all are responsible for

a lot of the pushback . I wish I could contribute money to your site but we are having a hard time financially right now but again Thank you all for your hard work!!

Well said.

Project Salt Box’s work is extremely helpful to those of us who continue to oppose warehouse detention centers.

Unfortunately, it looks like no one can really get even the slenderest of transparencies on what's happening in the American Gulags in Texas and Louisiana.

Thank you for all your work. I frequently share your posts and spread the word about Salt box project.

Thank you to all who listen and act to fight the expansion of ICE detention infrastructure. We are a nation of immigrants and when we stand together our better angles shine and the hope for a better future is realized.

In what way exactly has the administration backed away from warehouses? I missed this part.

See: https://www.nytimes.com/2026/06/18/us/politics/ice-warehouses-immigration.html

In short, ICE has backed away from the scheme and will now sell 7 of the 11 warehouses it purchased earlier this year. Confirmations have started appearing in court filings and with members of congress.
