This is horrendous. Who has standing to bring a lawsuit to stop this?

The fascist determination and secrecy are mind-blowing. A sickening use of taxpayer dollars.

The use of vans as holding areas brings to mind the Nazi attempt to use vans as gas chambers, also called “hell vans.”

Zofia Szalek, a German residing in the Polish town of Chelmno, describes what she witnessed: "We could hear the screams, but we couldn't see the people. They were loaded in and murdered there. It was hell. That's why we called these vans 'Hell Vans.'"

Where is James O'Keefe these days? He would have jumped at this....

Is ANYBODY but y'all covering this? This should be major news, blasted from NYT, WaPo, and discussed on tv panels where it's compared to Nazi Germany and Russia under Stalin and Putin. And yet it's just a small collective of independent journalists researching this atrocity. I can at least send it to Pramila Jayapal and Patty Murray and BEG 'em to do something.

It's campaign season, so the politicians have to interact with constituents. Force them to answer or refuse to answer questions about this. Coordinate with other people, and draw attention to it with creativity like costumes. Record it, and make it go viral.

More money funneled to private companies. Someone should investigate whether these companies are bribing government officials. We need state attorneys general to investigate the companies in the states they operate in. State crimes cannot be pardoned by the president. People inside the companies should leak information to facilitate this. Also, states need to cancel all contracts with these companies with state and local agencies in their states. Working with the federal government needs to be toxic for the companies.

To Mr Boggs: Most, maybe ALL companies getting large contracts from the trump admin either donate big buck$$$ to his PACs or give him direct kickbacks. Think about those warehouses the govt purchased for 4-16 TIMES their appraised value- each seller most assuredly gave massive kickbacks to trump.

Yep. Check out Mr T's family net worth over the last 10 years... it has skyrocketed!!

Exactly. The president may be immune from prosecution, but it doesn't make it legal. So those companies need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and there she should be civil actions against the companies to recover all the money they received plus penalties. I would go after all parties in the transactions, including the sellers. The sellers will probably make a deal with prosecutors to avoid prosecution by giving evidence against the other parties.

Thanks for clarifying these developments folks are seeing in the community. We definitely need to work on developing our plan to push to end these policies and replace them with fair, humane, constitutional policies.
