The Republicans are pure Evil. It’s not just Trump. This is decades of planning by Republicans to take over the government and make it a complete fascist and theocratic government. They have never relinquished bringing back the fascist Confederacy.
There is no place they could take over near me because everything they would want has been taken over by the Hassidic, Orthodox and Ultra Orthodox Jewish population, that has violated almost every rule in the books and bribed mayors and planning and zoning board members (who were all appojnted by the crooked mayor, not elected) to change the zoning regs that were hindering them from overburdening infrastructure (streets, utilities and sewage systems, etc.) that was designed for single familiy zoning with huge multifamily housing units and large temples. I live on a cul-du-sac with 14 houses and now have a huge "neighborhood" temple next to me that is lit up all night. Befire they bribed the village officials, zonung regulations required ax monimum if a 4 acre plat for that type and size of building but it was built on a plot of land that is barely an acre. We still have lawsuits in court and have win a few but the damage is done and mostly irrevesable. So yoo see I am in a struggle of a different nature than this ICE stuff but would like to help out in another area where ICE is trying to take over
Organize locally. Look at the Zoning map and written zoning code for your jurisdiction. Identify locations they may seek and why.
Then look at the process for getting permits approved in your jurisdiction. Do you have a planning commission? Be prepared. Be polite. Don’t assume that elected officials are in favor of this.
Start early. By the time they bring it to a public vote, the camel’s nose is already under the tent.
