Just made a phone call to Price Modern in Baltimore to inquire about the contract with ICE and express my disappointment as a Baltimore Resident. I asked the receptionist to pass along a message to the owners to ask them to end their contract with ICE. Just saw the interview on MTN and All Rise with Adam! I’m so glad that y’all have found a way to watch what these underhanded people are doing! It’s a good track record that about half of the contracts have been cancelled!
I’d also like to say that toward the end of that interview, Micheal also suggested that if we want (or can) donate, to not send it to y’all but to do so in our local areas in ways that matter. I was already highly impressed by this group but when he said that, my eyes filled with the absolute kindness and rarity of such an announcement!!! It’s not every day, week, month we hear such a thing. So, I’d like to give a separate and most sincere thank you for THAT decision/policy on top of the good good work y’all are doing!!!
This is not the America most of us know, love and have trusted for so long. When an agency such as yours comes out doing such great work, y’all need to be applauded. What’s happening with these deportations is awful!! I don’t know what this regime thinks they are accomplishing but in my heart, I know they are making a lot of terrible mistakes that I pray we can recover from. I stay as informed as possible thru MTN, because I know I’m getting the true facts about whatever is being reported. We don’t seem to be able to even trust the “major” 3 networks any longer. I found SubStack thru MTN as well and there are so many great contributors on here, as well.
Again, my deepest gratitude for the work y’all are doing to keep us informed so we are wiser in making our decisions. 💙💙💙
I just saw the LegalAF segment on saltbox. Can anyone PLEASE tell me if there’s any help for the “mid-south” area? Especially northern Mississippi?? We are being DEVOURED here by ICE and MUSK. We are outside Memphis in Mississippi. A gigantic transportation hub. Fedex hub is in Memphis. We have a bullseye on us. That used to mean lots of jobs now ICE and Musk are taking over. Musk set up a 100% illegal place to help power neighboring GROK in Memphis. No one is doing anything and it’s completely illegal. And grok has finished off memphis for good. They’ll never recover if grok stays. ICE I know had at least 2 warehouses in progress and signed one deal in Canton MS. Im no one so I imagine those areas I know about I can’t begin to imagine what we don’t know. Any info at all no matter how small Ill take!
I also called Price Modern. Sent a message to my church listserve to do the same. The number: 410-366-5500 EXT 568 is to the department that handles federal contracts. Let us spread this as widely as possible! Salt Box folks: please confirm that the 25 million contract is also for furniture in the detention centers.
Hello, Micky! Right now, we can only confirm that the Price Modern contracts are for new ICE offices around the United States. We have not yet been able to identify a vendor for the detention warehouse fit-outs.

We are looking forward to meeting, collaborating, and sharing with you. We are doing another March starting in PA on 4/11 and ending in DC on 4/25. Do you have any information on warehouses or other large buildings that ICE has acquired or is trying to acquire in the greater Philadelphia area, including Bucks, Chester and other collar counties around Philly and Mercer County NJ?
Also, bug your senators & House reps to vote NO on the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) and also vote NO on repealing or "reforming" (read: weakening) Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996 in order to keep it possible for us to learn & spread this info online without having to doxx ourselves or hand our photo IDs | biometric data (face scans) to Big Tech 1st.
