The proposed order would delay conversion of a Surprise warehouse into an ICE detention facility pending environmental review, but it isn't in effect unless a judge signs it.
Just a correction: Roxbury and Romulus (and SLC, Social Circle, and two sites in PA) have received official confirmation from DHS/ICE that their sites are going to be sold. With that, the lawsuits over NEPA and faulty processes are moot.
I'm with IWRNN.com (ICE Warehouse Resistance National Network) and glad to speak.

Vincent Perez, D-El Paso, on Friday warned about potential fires at the planned mega center, citing the lack of water pressure and infrastructure as dangerous. He urged El Paso County Emergency Services District No. 2 that serves the area to deny a permit for the center. He noted the 2023 fire at a migrant detention center in Ciudad Juárez that killed 40 detainees and injured 27 others as an example of the potential dangers.
These ICE detention facilities should not even exist: They warehouse people, most of them darker skinned under terribly shoddy conditions and without trial. That is absolutely illegal ( and freakishly racist).
They do not allow our Representatives to come in and take pictures to report on them as the Law demands and they make a hefty profit from incarcerating people with total disregard to the 14th Amendment.
The 14th Amendment applies to ALL the people under the Jurisdiction of the United States and its territories:

Please note that ALL 5 SECTIONS refer to PEOPLE, not "citizens only. They could easily have said "citizens", but they did NOT.
